Still nothing back from the agency I sent my MS to. It’s only been five weeks, but grr! I’m flipping out – can’t be helped. I’m horribly impatient, but I’m trying to see the brighter side of things.
Good news is I’ve had a few other agencies asking to see the full manuscript so that makes me feel a little better.
It’s a Young Adult Sci-Fi/Fantasy with some romance, time travel, and lots of Norway
Here’s the blurb:
Nine months have passed since her entire world was ripped apart, and sixteen year old Alaina Oftedahl-Miller can’t seem to pull herself up from the depths of despair. Her life only gets shaken up even more when she’s shipped off to live with her birth father – whom she was told abandoned her at the age of four – in Norway, of all places. Not only does she have to adapt to a frigid new environment near the Arctic Circle, but Alaina can’t shake the feeling that she’s constantly being watched.
On her first day at school, she meets the fabulously gorgeous Kaius Vargøy, who’s been assigned as her personal translator for as long as she needs him. Being the new student is hard enough, but between trying to begin a new life with her father, supernatural occurrences, an entirely different culture, and a boy who will stop at nothing to prove his love for her, how is Alaina supposed to get through her last years of high school?
